Product Description

Darkness Falls Over Lumiose City

The Pokémon TCG Abyss Eye Booster Box is the fifth Japanese Mega Evolution expansion, and it plunges collectors into the darkest corners of the Pokémon world. Headlined by the TCG debut of Mega Darkrai ex, this set is built around a striking Darkness and Ghost-type core that has generated huge collector demand since its reveal. With 30 sealed booster packs inside, this Japanese booster box is the best way to chase the set’s stunning chase cards and enjoy the premium print quality that Japanese Pokémon cards are known for.

What’s Inside the Booster Box?

Every Abyss Eye Booster Box contains:

  • 30 sealed Japanese booster packs
  • 5 cards per pack
  • 150 cards total per box

Please note: All cards in this product are printed in Japanese only.

A Set Built for the Dark Side

Abyss Eye features 118 cards to collect across multiple rarities. The Darkness-type core is led by Mega Darkrai ex alongside Inkay, Malamar, Zarude, and Chi-Yu, while a powerful Ghost-type lineup features Mega Chandelure ex, Banette, Spiritomb, Marshadow, and the Sinistea evolution line. Mega Excadrill ex and Rampardos ex anchor a secondary fossil sub-theme alongside Annihilape and Koraidon. Other notable Pokémon ex in the set include Lurantis ex, Wailord ex, Tapu Koko ex, and Morpeko ex. Support cards like Shadow Energy — which shields Benched Darkness Pokémon from all damage — and the powerful Dark Bell Trainer card round out the set’s identity.

Chase Cards Collectors Are Hunting

The headline chase cards are three variants of Mega Darkrai ex: the SR (#099/081), the spectacular SAR Special Art Rare (#114/081), and the ultra-rare MUR gold Mega Ultra Rare print (#118/081). Mega Excadrill ex and Mega Chandelure ex also feature multiple rarity tiers, and the set’s full-art Trainer cards featuring gym leader Gwynn are generating strong collector interest.

Why Buy Japanese Booster Boxes?

Japanese Pokémon TCG products are renowned for their superior card stock, texture quality, and vibrant printing. Japanese booster boxes also tend to offer more consistent pull rates than their English counterparts, with five cards per pack meaning every card in the pack carries weight.
