Nine Promos Across Three Regions
The Series 2 lineup features nine Illustration Rare-style promo cards to collect, three per region:
What makes these promos special is the artwork. Each card drops its starter Pokémon into a detailed scene built from that region’s own landmarks, items, and landscapes. Collect all three cards from a single region and they link together to form one continuous panorama — a stunning display piece that elevates these promos far beyond a standard collector card.
Standard Card Size — A Big Improvement
Unlike the 2021 25th anniversary First Partner Packs that featured oversized jumbo cards, the 2026 promos are printed at standard card size. That means they fit straight into sleeves, binders, toploaders, and display cases — making them far more practical to collect, store, and display.
Which Region Will You Get?
Each box contains one promo pack with three cards from a single region, but which region you receive is random. Collectors aiming to complete the full nine-card set can expect to need around five to six boxes on average based on early community tracking from Series 1. Ordering multiple boxes does not guarantee different regions.
Part of a Trilogy
Series 2 follows on from Series 1 (which featured Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola starters) and sets the stage for Series 3 later in 2026, expected to complete the collection with Hoenn, Kalos, and Paldea. Collectors building the full 27-card set across all three series will have one of the most complete starter Pokémon collections ever produced.
